Artemisia Parfum

Artemisia G. è un profumo dedicato a una donna, anche se non è stato concepito unicamente per le donne. Questo jus è un ponte attraverso il quale si viene "catapultati" in un'ambientazione seicentesca. Ci troviamo in una bottega, quella del padre di Artemisia, il grande pittore Orazio Gentileschi. Proprio qui nacque la passione di una giovane fanciulla: Artemisia, che è anche il nome di un fiore, presente in tutta la piramide del profumo. Le prime note del jus rimandano a questo luogo di formazione, dove il talento di Artemisia non tardò a farsi notare. L'intera piramide olfattiva è una sorta di “interpretazione” dei chiaroscuri, un richiamo ai tratti di luce e di oscurità tipici della pittura della Gentileschi. II profumo è anche la celebrazione del riscatto di questa donna vittima di una violenza carnale, che affrontò un processo e subì persino gli orrori della tortura ma che riuscì a far valere le proprie ragioni in un'epoca in cui era praticamente impossibile dimostrare la colpa di un uomo. Artemisia Gentileschi ebbe modo di frequentare ambienti che erano appannaggio di soli uomini, per questa ragione questo extrait de parfum racchiude note tipicamente maschili, come i legni scuri, il vetiver. L'artemisia, presente nelle note di testa, cuore e fondo, è invece il fil rouge della composizione e rappresenta una vera e propria celebrazione della parte femminile di questa artista, un raggio profumato sempre presente. Prima donna a essere ammessa all'Accademia delle Arti del Disegno, Artemisia Gentileschi è molto più di un mero simbolo, è un faro per le donne di ogni epoca e il suo esempio è oggi, più che mai, attuale, fulgido, indispensabile. Artemisia G. is a perfume dedicated to a woman but it had not been conceived exclusively for women. This blend is a throwback in 1600 set. We are in a workshop, the one of Orazio Gentileschi, Artemisia's father. Right here, the talent of this young girl was born. Artemisia is the name of a flower, there in the whole pyramid of the perfume. The first notes of the blend are connected to this "education place", where the talent of Artemisia showed up soon. The whole pyramid is an interpretation of the "chiaroscuro", a reference to traits of light and darkness, typical of her paintings. The perfume is also the redemption's celebration of this woman, victim of a rape too, had to deal with a trial and had to put up with the dread of tortures but she managed to earn right in a time when it was just impossible to prove men's crimes. Artemisia Gentileschi had the opportunity to attend environments that were exclusively male and, for this reason, this extrait de parfum holds notes typically male, like dark woods and vetiver. The artemisia is the composition's theme, there in head, heart and bottom, and is representing a real celebration of the female part of this artist, a scented ray that is always there. Artemisia Gentileschi was the first woman to be admitted to the "Academy of arts and Drawings" and she is more than a symbol, is a lighthouse for all the women, across the times, and her example is still nowadays current, essential and radiant.
